i have been doing them almost religiously everyday since i was 19 weeks pregnant because i read that they would help with bladder leaking later on in pregnancy, tearing during labor, and help you push better while you are delivering. is any of this true? will they help at all?
Kady is wrong….Kegels do not make you "tighter". They made the muscles that hold all of your lower organs in place STRONGER! Therefore doing them while pregnant WILL help during labor and help you to be able to push better! Keep doin em girl!
Stage 4 or 5 prolapse. I’m 53 my OBGYN whats to do a hysterectomy because if I don’t it her bladder repair won’t work. she also is recommending the hysterectomy because I don’t need it only more. My uterus is healthy and I see not reason to remove it.
Is your bladder prolapse due to uterine prolapse? I can understand her recommending a hysterectomy if your uterus has also prolapsed. But, if only the bladder is prolapsed, I wouldn’t think a hysterectomy would be necessary. If it were me, I would ask for a second opinion.
By the way, if you’re worried about menopause, you can have a hysterectomy and keep your ovaries.
Can doing to many Kegel exercises make you sore??
Because im doing them alot more then before and i feel really sore inside now.
Why is this happening?
Im not a virgin or anything i had a baby three years ago.

Kegel exercises shouldn’t hurt. If squeezing your PC muscles is accompanied by any discomfort, pain or genital bleeding, refrain from doing the exercises and consult a physician
When performing kegels, you have to first locate what muscles you are working with. When you have to urinate and you suck that muscle in to hold in your urine, those are your PC muscles. These are the muscles that you want to work even if you don’t have to use the washroom.
In order to do a kegel, you have to suck in that muscle, hold it for a few seconds and then release. You should start slow so you don’t hurt yourself and so you can gradually build up the elasticity over time. Start by doing maybe 10 a day and then you can get up to 50 or 100 plus. Just make sure that you are doing them properly so you can begin the vaginal tightening process and not hurt yourself.
I’ve been having pains on the top part of my stomach and a headache (but the headache might not have anything to do with it, cause I also get headaches because of my eyes). Anyway, my older sister (who is now 22) had to have her gull bladder removed because of an infection or something like that and my mom thinks that I could have the same problem. Where is the gull bladder located and what are the symptoms for an infection? Thanks!

The Gallbladder is located in the right upper part of your abdomen. Gallbladder infections (Cholecystitis) are symptomatic with pain in that area as well as radiation at times to the chest and right shoulder blade, fever and nausea and vomiting. Evaluation of the disease at a hospital would show an elevated WBC (white count) and sludge and gallbladder wall thickening on Ultrasound.
Gallbladder Disease, Gallstones (cholelithiasis), can cause biliary colic or spasm, pain in the same area with ingestion of a fatty meal. Not necessarily an infection, just spasm of the gallbladder which stores and secretes bile to digest fats. To minimize biliary colic or gallbladder pain, stick to a low fat diet. A ultrasound can diagnose Cholelithiasis and Cholecystitis.
Could past emotional trauma be causing it? I went through a period of severe depression a couple years ago (when I was 16), which is when I first started wetting the bed and having to go so urgently that I would wet my pants on the way home from school and stuff. After I stopped being depressed, it wasn’t really a problem anymore except that I’ve had to go more frequently ever since. But now, lately, I’ve started wetting my pants again. It’s like as soon as I feel like I have to pee, I immediately have to go. There’s no waiting time. I’m not depressed or stressed or anything right now though. Could it be an infection? I’m not feeling itchy at all. Would medication help, or is it something that requires a surgery or something?
I don’t think I have a UTI since I have a friend who gets them and describes the feeling as constantly having to pee, whereas with me I don’t have to go at all then then all the sudden I have to really badly. Also, I don’t think it’s an STD since I’ve only every slept with one person and I’m still with him now, and he has only been with me.
I made a whole new Yahoo Answers account just to ask this question. It’s so embarrassing. It’s hard to find your self esteem when stuff like this happens. The other day, as soon as I stepped out of the car to talk to the manager of a store about potential employment, I wet my pants and obviously couldn’t go. 
It needs kagel exercises more than anything. Could be trauma, but I would not focus on that, or want to go there at all. It seems more physical, as described. I would consider UTI, or perhaps STD, though you may not like that – you did not ask for it NOT to be included. A cold in the kidneys or bladder infection might do it. A common denominator needed is also an antibiotic; other meds as required.
I have been reading about Mitral Valve Prolapse and have many of the symptoms but not a click when it beats. Does that mean I don’t have it?
You should go see a doctor for a proper diagnosis.
Sometimes they don’t hear the click/woosh.

If the UTI has already established then I guess the cow needs antibiotics. The specific antimicrobial will likely depend on the culture once it gets back from the lab. As with humans, untreated UTIs can be fatal. Call the vet, and buy milk from the shop while she is being treated.

I’m 18 and Im really confused about how to do kegel and if I’m doing it the right way
Kegels are not very easy to do. Took me a couple of months to get it right. Everytime you go to ease yourself, do the exercise of peeing for 3 seconds then stopping the flow without using your thigh muscles or butt then hold it for 15 seconds from the time it stopped. Keep repeating this exercise for a couple of weeks and you’ll start to notice two things,your retention will have improved and you will be able to feel some muscles in there. Crap..that was weird.

Help!! I need help because when i masturbate i have this big problem. I was born with spina bifida and i use cathethers to go pee with them. I get frequent urinary tract infections because of that. During masturbation i get this yellow liquid that smells like fish with a white slimy substance.It is not mixed in it is separate from each other. I have stress and urge incontinence because of spina bifida. Is this my pee or cum? I just want to know how can i treat this problem if its my pee because i dont want to be peeing. I also want to know if its an yeast infection,bladder infection, or something else.
only thing to do is talk to your gyno and urologist. They can help you better then anyone else can. However, a lot of us with sb will urinate during any type of stimulation.
