I am 40 and had a tubal ligation in 1995. I had a bladder infection in september and have not had my period for two months. Is this normal?
Most likely you are perimenopausal. The antibiotic shouldn’t have stopped your period. But did you know that bladder infections become more common as a woman enters menopause? It’s one of the signs I guess. I know because I am 41. I too had real regular periods but then got an UTI. Since then, my cycles have been very long ( a 35 day cycle, and now to 45 day cycles). I have a lot of other perimenopausal signs as well. It’s just our age.
