Swelling abated but has not gone away. Also diagnosed with lumbar stenosis-L2; L3; L4. operated on 3/4/08. symptoms remain. Numbness in buttocks; groin; private parts; ankles; insteps. swelling in ankles, calfs; insteps. Urinary dis-function; incontinence. diabetes test-neg.; heart tests–ekg; echo-cardiogram; stress tests; angiogram–all neg. doppler test/blod clot-neg. Bowel dis-function on 3 occasions. difficulty in rising from chair; weakness in both legs; after sitting for more than 10 min. difficult to stand; can’t move legs for several minutes. Can’t straighten up; have to walk bent over with cane. sounds like Cauda Equina, but 4 dr’s-S-Surgeon; GP; Orthopedist ; Neurologist, say no. Now on Lyrica for 2 weeks-no relief except slightly better urinary function. now go for about 3-4 hours without need to empty bladder. At times, legs are normal-no swelling, but only temporary. Lying down does not help. Get up in A.M. with legs swollen. Left leg 2x as swollen as RT
I would trust the assessment of 4 qualified physicians over that of someone here. Tell you doctor you aren’t getting any relief from the swollen legs and see what he or she says.
Good luck

Over-ejaculation melts down the acetylcholine/parasympathetic nervous
functions first and then the liver functions that release essential
enzymes for the syntheses of the neurotransmitters acetylcholine,
dopamine and serotonin and the chains of hormone production; it
causes the brain and adrenal functions to perform excessive
dopamine-norepinephrine-epinephrine conversion and turn the brain and
body functions to be extremely sympathetic. It results in the brain’s
and nervous dysfunctions, stress, Anxiety, impatience, eye floaters or
fuzzy vision, buzzing (noisy) ears, cardiovascular irregularities,
urinary incontinence.

Warm water makes me pee when I take a shower(Minor urinary incontinence). But, Im a little stressed and need to take a nice bath, but I am worries about peeing in the tub. any suggestions?
Try taking a warm bath and if you accidentally pee in the tub stand up and take a shower afterwards.
I am due next month in May but I’m awfully afraid of giving birth. I have had a healthy and normal pregnancy so far. My doctor has giving me the option of c-section even though medically I have no problem giving birth vaginally. My problem is I am afraid of having a stressed incontinence and a dysfunction pelvic floor after giving birth. I love my baby and his health is number one priority to me but I love my husband too and I want to be able to have normal and satisfying sexual life after giving birth. To be honest I’m afraid of vaginal damage. Now my question is: does vaginal birth ruin the sex life? Is it true that the Pelvic floor problems arise when coughing, sneezing, laughing or crying and include leaking urine (urinary incontinence), leaking gas are the side effect of vaginal delivery? Will the vagina stay loose forever?
should i have a c-section for all of thoes reasons?
Honest answers please.
I DO NOT think that your doctor should give you the "option" if you can give birth vaginally then you should! C-sections can be MORE dangerous espcially if they are not MEDICALLY necssary. I have had a c-section FOR MEDICAL reasons and they are scary…so to your question about it "ruining your sex life", I have had many friends that have gvn birth vaginally and there sex lifes are not much different….I cannot Give you the Straight forward answer to that question since I have had a c-section, but I would advise you to have a vaginal birth.
?Congrats and Good luck!?
